It seems to be impossible to create a CGT account in order to declare and pay CGT in respect of a UK property sale - the only available option refers to trusts and estates. Following all possible links and routes to do this, including going through the (helpful) online calculation, leads to the same (useless) place from which it is impossible to create the required account. The alternative of filling in an online form, printing it out, then posting it is not acceptable, not least because much of the information required is not explained clearly (and given the rapidly approaching payment deadline, it is not an entirely attractive option). A clear and unambiguous guide to how this is supposed to be done, with suitable links and instructions, would be appreciated. Thanks
