Hi everyone. I'm the sole owner of my home and have one child (my son). I'd like to gift the house to my son. My son owns no property. I qualify for Private Residence Relief. There's no mortgage on the house. If I transfer the house to my son as a gift, I don't think I'm liable for CGT. Is that right? If so - do I need to do/send anything to HMRC? Side note: will there be SDLT? Thanks a lot :)
