My mother has just sold her home, do I need to tell HMRC, lived there from 1968 to now

My mother has just sold her home and moved into a care home 6 months ago, the house has been empty until it was sold yesterday. Do I/her need to tell HMRC/Inland Revenue? I don't think she needs to as she has lived their all her life from 1968 until she moved into the care home, its alsway been a family home, never rented out, no lodgers etc so I assume 100% Private Residence relief (no CGT). thanks for help/support
