I have a Trading 212 account in which I buy single shares and also have pie shares which is multiple of companies in a pot, these do pay dividend however Trading 212 have an auto reinvest option to both the single or pie shares. My question is... if I select auto reinvest on both single and pie shares am I liable to pay tax on the dividend if I select auto reinvest if the auto reinvested is over the £500 a year dividend threshold or can it reinvest any quantity tax free and only pay capital gains tax when I sell the shares.

Hi
It is only if the company auto reinvest the dividends that you dont declare them. As you have the choice, this is still taxable and needs to be declared.
