Unable to Create CGT Account

I'm posting on behalf or my partner, who is unable to create a CGT account - the web site reports 'Technical Difficulties' and to try again later - I've created a CGT myself without difficulties - on the same computer - so I suspect it's something to do with her account - not the HMRC web site. Any help would be gratefully received.

Your partner can contact the online services helpdesk for assistance at 0300 200 3600 (Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm).
If there are still issues, your partner could the PAYE helpline on 0300 200 3300 (Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm) or download a Paper Capital Gains return at:
Report and pay your Capital Gains Tax
Please note that the paper return should be submitted withing 60 days of the completion date, to avoid penalties.
