Dear HMRC, I am trying to file my capital gains tax following the sale of my property. However, upon logging in, the website assumes I'm a business and asks me if I am disposing a property for an estate or a trust. When I said 'No', it says I cannot use this service and must do Corporation tax. This property is not in my company, it is in my name. I don't know how to navigate the website. Does it mean I have to file by paper? Many thanks

It sounds like you have set up a business account rather than a personal account.
You will need to create a new one to allow you to file correctly.
