Estimate used for Home improvements costs when selling property

Currently reporting CGT for selling a property however many of the prices for home improvements and original legal fees will only be esitmates as we no longer have the invoices/reciepts When reporting it then asks us to provide the real amounts when we know them, what should we do in this instance since it is impossible for us to get the invoiced amounts?

If you do not have evidence to support, you cannot claim expenses as evidence may be asked for at a later date.
