Foreign CGT & Tax Return

Hi I have made a loss in 2022-2023 in foreign investment but I never submitted a tax return before. I do not want to claim/ utilise the loss, do I still need to submit a tax return? Many thanks! Best regards,

It depends on the actual disposal. if this exceeded £49300, yes you need to file a return. if not, you can write in with details, within 4 years, so that the loss is noted so that it can be used at a future date.
