Hi, Having used the HMRC NRCGT tax to calculate the total gain tax of the property from 2015 to date I am given a total tax figure that is due, however this calculation is based on an individual. As the property is owed 50/50 would I apportion 50% of the gain to myself, 50% to my wife, deduct our allowances and then report each seperately? Thanks

Hi,
Yes, each party must report their own share.
Thank you
