Hello, We bought our house in 2011 and lived in it for 3years before we moved to France for my husband's work (with the same employer). We let the property during this time. We moved back to the UK last summer (with the same employer) and moved back into our house. We are now looking at selling our home for more room and I understand that we will be cgt exempt. Do we still need to complete a form on sale and what form would this be? Thank you

Hi,

You can see guidance here:

Tax when you sell property

Tax when you sell your home
