Good afternoon, I am currently using the CGT calculator (non-property) on the tax.service.gov.uk site and have a query. Where it says: "In the 2023 to 2024 tax year, what was your income? Include your salary before tax", is this my gross salary or my salary less any salary sacrifices? Example: Gross annual salary of £50,000 Annual workplace pension salary sacrifice of 10% (£5,000) Annual car lease salary sacrifice of £5,000 Income (pre-tax): £40,000. Would my answer to the calculator question be £40,000 as that's my taxable income OR the £50,000 gross salary even though £10,000 isn't taxable? Thanks

Hi,
It would be your taxable income.
Thank you.
