Capital Gains on property after the estate administration has been completed.

Hello, I have inherited a house from my mother the executor has done their job and the house has been transferred to me. Q : I have decided to develop part of the garden and sell on, is there any CGT to pay if I have made a profit who is liable me or my late mother’s estate

If there is an increase in value then CGT will be due and as you are now the owner, it will be you as you are the owner.
