My sister and I are selling the shares inherited from my late mother. With the profit from date of death to sale date, plus dividends and some accrued interest on bank accounts, we estimate a gain £7,000. Can this amount be divided between us and we then report CGT on our respective 50%? We are both executors and beneficiaries'
