Equity Release repayment

Is the repayment of Equity Release taken into account in the CGT calculation. Specifically - mother had equity release before passing away, I did not benefit from this but had to be repaid from sale of house, is this factored in the calculation?

No, equity release sums are not factored into the Capital Gains Tax calculation when an inherited property is sold.
