Sale of UK residential property by individual completed in same month (and same tax year) as sale of some commercial property. Taking into account private residence relief on residential property and allocating some of annual exemption to residential property sale there is no capital gains tax payable. There is a gain even after using remaining annual exemption on commercial property. In these circumstances is it correct that no 60 day report is required- in other words you can allocate the annual exemption as you choose?
