Selling inherited property abroad and bringing income to the uk

I’m from Spain. I inherited some land from my mother and I am now in the process of selling it. I live and work in the Uk, soon to retire. Please could you inform me if I need to declare income, pay capital gains ,or other taxes ,once proceeds from the sale are in my uk bank? Thanks in advance, Mary.
