Capital gains tax on residential property

When completing the capital gains tax for residential property form online there is a question ' What was the market value of the property when you gave it away?' Do I answer this question with the market value of the proportion I gave away which was 50% or would I need to input the full market value of the residential property?

If you gave away only 50% of the property, the figure you should enter on the online form is 50% of the market value.
