We (my wife and I) sold a property in March. We separately declared and paid CGT soon after. I am now completing my own self-assessment. Unlike the pages on the "Report and pay Capital Games Tax on UK property" declaration, the CGT pages on Self Assessment do not appear to make allowances for separate declarations. I have therefore halved all the entries, eg house was actually sold for £130,000, so I have entered £65,000 as the price at which the house was sold. Is this correct?
