Is CGT payable on a gifted commercial property?

Hello, my father plans to gift me a commercial property freehold. If he does, would Capital Gains Tax need to be paid?

What about hold over relief, would that apply in this case - i.e. Capital Gains Tax would only be payable if I were to then sell the property, how does that work?
