Expiry of Annual Exempt Amount

My father passed away in 2020 and we have finally just sold the property. As it's more than 3 years since date of death does the estate no longer qualify for the Annual Exempt Amount?

Annual exempt allowance is available for disposals made in the same year of death and the following 2 years.
