Capital Gains Tax Crypto Loses

Hi, I am unsure if I need to inform HMRC of my crypto losses. I invested £230 but recently decided to pull my investment and made a loss of £20 (£210) . I am required to notify HMRC regarding this loss? Many thanks.

If you want to use it at a later date for any future potential capital gain, yes, you would need to send a letter with a computation to us:
HMRC,
