I recently sold my current home and bought another new home at the same time. I owned this home only but my husband owned another property for let. Do I need to report the sale of my home to HMRC? Do I need to pay any captial gain tax? Thank you for your advice in advance.

Hi,
If this has been your only and main residence for the whole period of ownership then, no. You can see guidance here:
Capital Gains Tax: what you pay it on, rates and allowances
Thank you.
