I have just recently bought a property that needs stripping back to bare brick and carrying out a full renovation. All new plumbing, electrics, insulated plasterboards, new kitchen and bathroom. I am in the process of doing my capital gains tax and I was hoping to see if there is somewhere that lists what I can claim for and what I can't. I understand it says improvements but decoration is not included, however we have increasingly improved the property to make it habitable, so I am a bit lost of some of the areas I am unable to include. Can any one help please?
