Hello, Using example numbers, if in the tax year of 24/25, I made a £6k gain from a stock sale and but also had losses of £4k in the same tax year from other shares. I understand I won’t have to pay CGT but do I still need to report it? Many thanks

Hi, Thank you but it’s still not clear I would need to report based on those links. My understanding now is that I need to report the loss and then report the gains, would that be accurate?

Hi Ricardo Ferreira,
If using in year losses, yes you need to report.
Thank you.
