Hi, I'm a BN(O) holder and set up a UK bank account under UK citizenship years ago when I was studying at a UK university. I haven't lived in the UK for over 8 years since graduating. During this time, I've been buying shares in the US stock market (non-UK companies) through my UK bank account. I'm planning to move to the UK next year. If I sell these shares before I move, do I need to pay capital gains tax? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
Not in the UK but you will need to check the tax laws of where you are a resident.
Thank you.
