Exporting consumables for an exhibition

We have goods going to Italy for an exhibition for which we have an ATA Carnet. Some items are consumables and therefore we would need an export declaration as they are outside the eligibility of a simple declaration using the merchandise in baggage online declaration service. For the full export declaration, we would be the Exporter on Record but as we are not registered in Italy who would be the Importer on Record, can we use ourselves or is there another way

Hi You would need to check with Italian customs. You will likely need to find a customs agent to act as your indirect representative as you do t have any business establishment in Italy.
