For most our UK export declarations, created on our behalf by 3rd party brokers, we have a departure date in our monthly UK exports report. Except one broker (our biggest one), who only has a rate/ departure date in around 60% of our exports. I contacted the broker, and they mention that HMRC has an issue with receiving the departure date messages and that’s what’s causing the low rate. My question is this correct and is HMRC working on a solution or do we as the exporter and/ or our broker have to take any action? As I would like to receive our export reports with preferable a 100% departure date on our exports.
