Good Afternoon, I am hoping you can help. My customer is going to France to collect one item which requires Dry Ice packaging. The driver will depart from the UK and have a cool box containing dry ice with him, which is not part of any financial transactions with the buyer in France, it's purely to take across to pack with the commodity in France. Is it safe to conclude that the driver can proceed to the Green Lane 'Nothing to declare' as no sale has taken place? Thanks

Hi,

You can look into temporary admission to import the goods to the UK, or move goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland, and use them temporarily before re-exporting them. You can see guidance here:

Apply to import goods temporarily to the UK

Thank you.
