Importation of Personal Goods and 2nd hand items - UK now permanent residence

I Have been resident in the UK last 17 years and am going back to NZ to clear out an old storage unit with a view to returning items to the UK including a model train collection a lot of which has been originally purchased in the UK 1990s - 2006 (most are 70+ yrs old now). Are there any documents I can use to limit any importation duties.
