When I moved from the UK to Bosnia 25 years ago I took some personal possessions with me, including tableware (some silver, mostly plate, more of sentimental than financial value). I now want to return these to my heirs in the UK via courier, as I am 80 years old and would be unable to travel with the items myself. I have tried to find out from the HMRC website what the customs duty implications are but everything I found there assumes I will be bringing the items to the UK myself. Advice please! Thank you
