How to filling in self-assessment for joint ownership

My husband and I own a property to rent out. It is 50/50 basis. When we are filling in our tax return, should we: (a) declare half the total property income on each self-assessment form ? (b) declare half the total expense on each self-assessment form ? Thanks.
