Advice on Declaration of Trust

Hello, I have owned a property solely in my name for 20 years and got married 10 years ago but haven't transferred any percentage of the property to my wife. I am renting the property out but want the benefits (taxable income) to go 100% to my wife. I have completed a Declaration of Trust to that effect and am completing form 17. Is there anything else I need to do? I have read about registering a trust in some of the answers to questions on these forums and am a little confused. Thank you..

Hello, An update. I have now taken advice and understand I do not need to complete form 17. I am completing the Declaration of Trust and will register the trust with HMRC. Thank you. .
