I'm non-UK landlord and report tax for 2022/2023 for 1st time. Would like to enquire about how to fill in paper form SA 100 & SA 105, many thanks! 1) Shall I fill in rental income in box no. 17 in form SA 100 (Other taxable income)? 2) If I would like to claim for Property income allowance £1,000, shall I fill in box no. 20.1 of form SA105? If I have claimed for the Property income allowance £1,000, am I not necessary to fill in any other property expenses?

Hi,

As a non-resident landlord in receipt of income from UK property, you should report your rental income in the appropriate boxes (ie Boxes 1, 3 & 20) of the SA105. And if you wish to claim the Property Income Allowance instead of actual itemised expenses, please also complete Box 20.1.

UK Property Notes

Thank you.
