Hi, I have some finance costs carried forward for which, I have not received any tax relief. I am selling my property. Can I claim any relief on these costs when I sell the property? Is there any way in which I can use these costs to reduce the gain on sale? Thanks

Hi
Thank you for your question. I am sorry to inform you that it’s not possible to set-off unused financial costs against the capital gains if you sell the property. The unused relief can be carried forward and set against future profits.
