Hello, My husband and I are looking to buy our first residential home in the UK. Both of us are from India. My husband has inherited a land with commercial property (currently rented out to a small scale manufacturing business) from his parents few years ago. This land has no residential building in it. Would we still qualify as first time buyers in the UK and be eligible for SDLT exemptions? Thank you
