Hi, I currently own a property that I purchased in 2017, lived in from 2017-2021 and then remortgaged and tenanted from 2021 onwards. I am currently living in rented accommodation and am looking to buy my own property to live in. Please can you confirm whether I will qualify for main residence SDLT relief on the purchase of my private property, given that I currently consider my rented accommodation as my main residence and have not lived in the tenanted property for over 3 years? Thanks
