Do I need to declare to HMRC if no rental income?

I have purchased a property in UK. It will be my main residence when I come to UK. But, I am still in HK now. If I don't rent out, but just allow my friends to live/stay in the house with rent free. Do I need to declare to HMRC and submit any tax return?

If you are not renting out your UK property you will not need to declare this to HMRC.
