Clarification on Deductibility of Product Fees for Buy-to-Let Mortgage Renewals

Dear HMRC, I would appreciate your guidance on the deductibility of product fees associated with the renewal of buy-to-let mortgages. Specifically, can these fees be claimed as finance costs against rental income for a residential BTL property, and are they considered an allowable expense for tax purposes?
