My income from property is under 85000 so I have always filled in box 29 or its equivalent with all my expenses rather than breaking them down, Can I include replacement of domestic items box 36 - I can't tell according to the notes? The instructions for box 29 quite clearly say "you can just add up your expenses and put the total in box 29" however I'm concerned because box 36 comes after it that the notes are incorrect and I can't actually just add up all my expenses and put them in box 29 because I have separate any for box 36... Thanks for any help.

Hi,
You can include your expenses at box 29 as you have normally done, but your expenses for replacement domestic items should be shown separately in box 36.
Thankyou.
