£1000 tax allowance on property income

Firstly my residential property is over £1000 and I complete a self assessment online detailing my income and expenditure but wanted to know if i get this allowance and if so how do I get it? thanks

Thank you for your question. I assume you are talking about the property income allowance. You can either claim the £1000 property allowance or the expenses whichever is higher.
