Client sold PPR in March 2020. They own a holiday home which they paid the second property SDLT charge on. Since selling their PPR in March 2020, they have lived in rented accommodation. They are now looking to purchase a new PPR. Is any additional paperwork needed to confirm that the new PPR purchase isn't subject to the higher SDLT rate for second properties?
