Becoming a tax resident in the uk after more than 10 years overseas

Hi, My family and I are planning a move back to the uk in July 2024. We were planning to sell our home but following the recent spring budget announcement we might rent the property for a couple of years. My question , will the move back to the uk in July qualify us for the new 4 year relief on F I G , and if so does that include relief on any capital gains that might be realized when we sell. The new rules do not come into effect until 6 April 2025.
The old rules will continue to apply up to then and we cannot confirm in this forum, whether you will fit the nie critieria.
