Token generation failed

I am unable to generate a live token to send my quarterly vat return. I have checked and everything is correct, MTD is enabled etc I have contacted our software support consultant and they have checked our system and everything is in order. They have said to contact HMRC just to check all is ok with our account. Can you explain why I cannot get a token generated?
