Unable to submit MTD VAT return through accounting software

We are unable to submit our current quarters VAT return and are getting the code error 'the client and/or agent is not authorised' We have a number of VAT registered entities where we are able to submit the VAT return for but struggling with just the one entity. Any advice on what we need to do. The accounting software company say it is not their issue that is causing the problem.
