Hi I sent an enquiry regarding missing NI contributions from when I swapped onto ESA from IS/IB about 6 weeks ago. I'm guessing there is a large backlog. Is there a rough estimate of how long it'll be before my query gets to the top? Thanks

Hi,
If your query is about missing credits from ESA, you should contact the Department for Work and Pensions (ESA section) to query the missing credits with them.
You can contact them on 0800 169 0310, lines are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
If your query is about missing National Insurance contributions (NICs) from your employment or self-employment, the current timescale for your letter to be processed by HMRC is 35 weeks if the missing NICs are relating to employment, and 20 weeks if the missing NICs are relating to self-employment.
Thank you
