Hello, I checked NI contributions for my state pension and three years are showing as no contributions. I was out of the UK for the first year but returned part of the way through the second year and was in the UK for the third year. I have my payslips showing NI contributions. How can I correct the record please? Many thanks.

In case anyone else has the same problem, I called HMRC and was told to write to Individual Case Worker PT Operations North East England HM Revenue and Customs BX9 1AN and provide - employment details: name, address, payroll number, tax year, evidence of earnings (payslips, P45, P60, etc) - personal details: name, date of birth, address, National Insurance number, contact number. The letter must be signed. A case worker will investigate and update records accordingly.
