Hi All, I am trying to fill out the CA3821 form with my employer. (We need to fill out the CA3822 form after). The reason being: For family reasons, my employer is allowing me to work remotely from Spain and I need the A1 certificate of coverage. While going through the CA3821 form, my employer was worried about some questions: 1. What is the nature of the company's business overseas: We have put one employee has been allowed to move to Spain for personal reasons. Not to represent us there. - Is this answer fine? 2. How many employees do you have? There are two fields. In the UK or Abroad. Do I go into the abroad section now even if my employment is in the UK? 3. Approximately how many staff does your company intend to send overseas in the next 12 months? Do I count in this number if I am already overseas? 4. Additional Information Should we fill out the context that I have given above? Kind Regards, M

Hi,
The CA3821 should be completed using the current position.
Therefore, if you have already moved abroad you will be classed as an employee abroad.
As you are already overseas you will not be included in the number your company intends to send in the next 12 months.
The reason they have given for you working overseas should be sufficient, however the team may ask further questions.
Thank you.
