CF83 Class 2 Contributions - no feedback on form sent January 2023

I posted a CF83 Form (Application) to pay Class 2 Contributions in January 2023. I have proof of postage but did not (foolishly) pay for a tracked postal service. I have heard nothing back to acknowledge receipt and I cannot see anything on my personal tax account that states the application is in progress. Should I assume that the application has gone astray and should be resubmitted, or is it possible it's still part of the backlog still being processed?

We are  sorry that our backlogs of post are causing such delays in response.  
Unfortunately our International areas have been significantly impacted and both our EU Teams and our Rest of the World Teams.
We cannot give you a specific time when you can expect a response for your application via this forum.  
Our Central Mailing Units do not issue acknowledgements.  
Correspondence is scanned onto our Digital Mail System and worked in date order of receipt.
