Hi there. I left the uk 11 months ago for a two year stint abroad with my company. My company has been paying NI Class 1 contributions for the first 52 weeks as standard. As I am approaching the 52 weeks now, I am filling in CF83 to continue with voluntary contributions. Question 14 asks for the date I last paid NI contributions. Do I put the last date I worked in the UK or 52 weeks after that to acocunt for the fact my company has been deducting NI over the past year? Note that 52-week date would be in the future as I have not actually reached 52 weeks yet. Thanks!

Hi,
We would advise the date your 52 weeks liability ends.
You could also add a note either at the bottom of the application or attached a separate letter if you require more room.
Thank you.
