Dear HMRC admin, I would like to contribute for the national insurance but I do not know which date I shall started based on following scenario. - My primary home in home HK since = 1 Jan 2017 - I purchased another home in UK = 22 June 2023 - I have BNO VISA starting from 7 Sep 2023 (Never in UK before) - I travel to UK between 13 Nov 2023 - 5 Dec 2023 then back to HK - I moved to UK since 16 Feb 2024 and maintain the HK employment contact till 31 August 2024 In this situation I will become UK tax resident in 2024 - 2025 but I am bit confusion which day I shall start use PAYE as employee to contribute my Class 1 NI as sole trader ? Thank you,
